Haven't the time to blog lately. Ever since Christmas/New Year weekend I've been working non-stop. Couldn't help walking the wards zombified, and coming back home daily with aches and pains all over. Thank God for a week off for Chinese New Year break. Regret though I couldn't make it home again this year. I miss home soooooo much..so much.
Some pics taken on X'mas dinner. Me and Andy toiled whole day that day for a nice dinner. Glad to have the company of family and friends, the little that we have here.

no potatoes? we got turkey too. it became leftover for days. and we cook turkey fried rice. turkey porridge. the rest give doggies.
our cny? ali work on 1st day of cny(was a public hol). i went to have cny dinner with some friends. and drinks. that's about it. we had a banquet for 8. the food is way below average. sighh. was very disappointed with the food. doesnt taste like proper food at all. maybe i work in an upmarket restaurant where everything is superbly perfect and taste way decent. ummm had spring onion pancake, weird looking dumplings for entree, scallops, sotong, duck spare ribs, steam chicken, soup, beancurd+veg, dunno wad else.
aunty ros's reunion dinner was better. she din cook fish maw soup. :( corn soup add with lentils barley thingy. some five spice pork, salmon mix salad = yeesang?, flounder with leek, chicken curry and vegetarian dish, and cincau+lychee for dessert.
i want meesua. i want fish maw soup or shark fin soup.

what kind of chinese banquet like that wan?
aiyo..cook ur own meesuah lah. so easy..buy chicken. lots of ginger. a bottle of rice wine (if got red rice wine even better). put sesame oil, fry ginger, fry chicken..dump a bottle of wine into it..add water...slow cook for 2-4 hours. mah got ur ginger wine soup liau lorrrr....
fish maw soup where got nice? i miss shark's fin also..but not very environmental friendly. angmoh if find out u eat shark's fin..will look at u one kind! so..keep it quiet ok?
